That is really a johnny jump up which is sort of a miniature pansy. All are closely related to the violet and viola, but I believe the johnny jump up can take more sun. I knew a lady who won awards at the Philadelphia Flower Show for pressed flower arrangements, and her signature was always, lurking somewhere, a pressed jju. SDB
