Pug Pouch Finale - Goal Surpassed!

Briana the pug got her wheels from Seattle Pug Rescue.
Here she is ready to play at a recent SPR event.

I'm thrilled to announce that we not only met our goal of $1000 raised for Seattle Pug Rescue, we surpassed it!

Thanks to each and every one of you who bought the 70 pouches we sold. Your purchase helped us raise $1050 to help canines in need.

Seattle Pug Rescue is an all-volunteer organization, so every cent raised goes directly to help the animals.

The Return of Button Bracelets

It's been awhile since I've made and sold button bracelets, but I'm getting back into it.
I've been raiding my stash of interesting buttons, looking for combinations that contrast textures or display tonal colors.
We have several one-of-a-kind bracelets for sale right now in the shop, and I'll continue to make them through the rest of the year.
The bracelets range in price from $24-$28, perfect for gift-giving.

Meet Liberty and Justice

Their human won this Custom Photo Mini Wallet because she was one of many who ordered a Pug Pouch on our website. I randomly drew her name from the list of supporters.

We are still seven pouches away from our goal of $1000. We are hoping to meet our goal by the end of this week. Learn more about this project here.

Thanks to everyone who has supported our fund raising efforts to benefit Seattle Pug Rescue! We are making and shipping the pouches as fast as we can.

Pug-O-Ween is coming. Check out the flier here.

Save the Date: 8 Year Anniversary Party

I can scarcely believe that it's nearly time for us to celebrate eight years of our retail store, but here it is! Please mark your calendars for our Anniversary Party, on Saturday, November 6th from 5-8 pm. (See invite here.)

We're hard at work making one-of-a-kind bags to sell in our Glam for Good collection. I've been gathering lots of extra special vintage brooches, buttons, and textiles to incorporate into special accessories. I also have these gorgeous ribbons that I can't wait to use.

I'll post some pictures of these creations here in the coming weeks, so check back for a sneak preview.

Staff Picks: Debbie's Fall Fabric Favorite

Debbie gravitated toward this upholstery-weight fabric in classic fall colors the minute I brought it into the store. She would pair it with our glossy bay leaf faux leather.

"I love the bold use of complementary colors on this rich fabric," she commented.

Staff Picks: Rebecca's Fall Fabric Favorite

According to Rebecca, "Orange is perfect for every season." She chose this unusual floral pattern that showcases bright shades of orange and aqua on a cobalt blue background.

"I would pair this fabric with our Truffle faux leather. The soft metallic would pick up on the subtle gold in this print."

Ashley chose this textured large-scale print as her favorite for the season.
